Unlike an initial psychiatric evaluation, which focuses on assessment and diagnosis, medication management means having a licensed provider who stays actively involved in your care: reviewing how your medications are working, making adjustments based on your response, addressing side effects, and keeping your full clinical picture in view over time.

This service is designed for people managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, or other psychiatric conditions — especially when those conditions are occurring alongside addiction. It's also a core component of care for clients on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid or alcohol use disorder. MAT medications like buprenorphine, naltrexone, or Vivitrol require consistent follow-up and clinical oversight to be effective, and that follow-up lives here, with a team that already knows your story.

Your prescribing provider is on-site and communicates regularly with your therapist and clinical team — so your medications and your counseling are working in the same direction, not being managed in separate silos. Most major insurance is accepted for medication management services, including AHCCCS, Banner Health, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicare.
